PIKE PLACE MARKET | Besides being the place most-recommended by local Seattlites to visiting guests, Pike Place Market is the oldest, continuously operating farmers market in the country. More than 10 million people a year visit the market, and it's one of the best people-watching places in the city. Here you will find fresh flowers, flying fish, ostrich eggs, books, world-renowned restaurants, local musicians, comedy clubs and the incredible views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
SOUTH LAKE UNION | Home to the e-commerce giant, Amazon, South Lake Union is the city's hub of both technology and culture. Waterfront shops and restaurants along with the elegant parks around the water, create spaces that are both natural and highly designed. The MOHAI (Museum of History & Industry) is a huge draw for locals and tourists alike. Art, technology and history combine in a neighborhood with maritime flair.
